Alasdair Taylor
Alasdair Taylor founded SEQ Legal in July 2007.
Alasdair studied for his law degree at the University of Essex and the Katholieke Universiteit Nijmegen in the Netherlands. He has also studied at the Birkbeck College at the University of London (philosophy), the University of Nottingham (international relations), Nottingham Law School (the legal practice course) and the University of Bristol (intellectual property law and practice).
He did his legal training at (the firm now called) Mayer Brown LLP in the City of London. After qualifying as a solicitor, he worked in the firm's intellectual property and IT group. After 5 years at Mayer Brown LLP, Alasdair joined Manches LLP in Oxford, where he continued to specialise in intellectual property, IT, media, publishing and general commercial work.
Alasdair has worked for a wide range of clients during his career, ranging from international banks to law firms, from world-famous charities to internet start-ups, and from governmental organisations to biotech companies.
Alasdair's legal articles have been widely published (for example, in Mondaq, Copyright World, Advertising, Marketing and Branding Law Journal, Learned Publishing, Entertainment Law Review, In Business Magazine, ITMA Information, World eBusiness Law Report, Media World and World Online Gambling Law Report).
He currently teaches a course in digital publishing law at the Publishing Training Centre in London.
Hagit Taylor
Hagit Taylor helped found SEQ Legal in 2007. She studied English at Tel Aviv University, holds a law degree from the University of Essex, and is a qualified Israeli lawyer.
